Lost love

Step by step,
We threw caution to the wind.
The pain of love, made us have a rethink.
Our ways of old became strange to believe.
What we had became lost in the sea.
Sorry sorry, things didn’t work as we wished.
A soiled heart made us to be deceived.
Out of nowhere our bonds broke into piece.
What we shared didn’t seem to be real.
And so our love got lost in transit.
