Editor’s Pick | Python Dance by Juli Ada Love

Does python dance?
With what will it dance?
To which sounds will it dance to?
Circling around a tree doesn’t make a dance.
Matching like ants
Dressing In Bush wears
Handling science stick
Like it’s a chewing stick.
Leave the town!
Let the ships be!
Aren’t you all hearing;
The whirling of the sea?
How long will you rear in that sea?
Stop harming the fingerlings
Save your time and their lives!
You are to protect!
